"These days" (Nico) Grábame una cinta de 60 (97)

"These days" es una canción compuesta -al parecer, a los 16 años- por Jackson Browne e interpretada por Nico para su primer álbum en solitario, titulado "Chelsea girl" (1967), un disco en el que, además de Browne, también aportan canciones los compañeros de Nico en The Velvet Underground Lou Reed, John Cale y Sterling Morrison, y también una Bob Dylan.

Aunque el álbum no tuvo el éxito esperado, contenía canciones con fuertes dosis de belleza, emotividad y melancolía, como "The fairest of the seasons", "I'll keep it with mine", "Somewhere there's a feather" y este "These days", sencilla y dulce, un susurro al corazón con la singular voz de esta icónica intérprete alemana en perfecta armonía con la melodía.

"These days" ha sido versionada por multitud de artistas, tanto en disco como en directo, entre los que se cuentan Paul Westerberg, Mates Of State, Band Of Horses, Lloyd Cole, 10000 Maniacs, St. Vincent, Fountains Of Wayne, etc. x Fernando SoYoung
