Traveling far to your new home.

I miss the way you grounded me in reality when I felt the world slipping away
I miss how you would play with your hair when the conversation disintegrated
I miss the sound of your voice, even when you were dead tired from a long days shift
I miss the serenity that surrounded us when we wandered off into the night

But it hurts that I can’t tell you this
But I know you’re happy now and that’s all I want.
